These drum kit files have been contributed through the efforts of fellow Doggiebox users. Use them and enjoy.
Zygoat represents that to the best of our knowledge the sounds and graphics used in the drum kits are the property of the contributor or have been properly licensed from their respective owners for public distribution. Additional information or restrictions may be included. Your proper use of these resources is your responsibility.

Bad Robot NSKit (5.8 MB) — Created by Paul Le Hat. A variation on nskit_v7 with most sounds again from Douglas White. including v.6. Sounds from findsounds.com and other samples in the public domain. 2005.

70s Ludwig Kit vII (12.9 MB) — This is an updated version of David Holloway's excellent beater kit, bearing a heavier sound than the previous. "It is not useful for everything, but edges a little closer to that big boomy Bonham sound." Release notes are included. 2004.

ns_kit v7 (938 kB) — This drum kit incorporates the sounds from Douglas Whates's comprehensive ns_kit. Requires the .wav files that used to be downloadable for free from Natural Studio, and Doggiebox 1.2. Thanks to Mike Carlyle for assembly! 2004.

70s Ludwig Kit (3.1 MB) — David Holloway has put together this excellent collection of sounds from his 1970s era Ludwig kit, including a number of accents and stick effects. A test arrangement is included. 2004.

Behan Box II (1.2 MB) — An old beater kit captured to tape with a single dynamic mic about 8' behind the throne. The sounds are raw and dry, allowing you to spice them up as required. Recorded and assembled by Mike Carlyle with thanks to Tom Behan. 2004.

Tablas (458 kB) — Jean-Christophe Taboada contributed this kit of of sounds from Indian percussion. Included is the tablas's drumkit and a little sample song. 2004.

Tama Swingstar Kit (3.6 MB) — Recorded and contributed by Mike Watson, from Will Ullinger's drumkit during recording for Sneakthief's self-titled album. Probably best suited for hard rock applications. 2004.

Djembe (825 kB) — Sounds from a 14" Djembe (a goatskin-head hand drum from Guinea, West Africa). Sounds provided include bass, deadened bass, slap, muted slap, tone, muted tone, and variants, all made on the one drum. Several require both hands to play, so it's advised to have only one sound per beat for authenticity. Contributed by the Reverend Rat. 2003.

Hemberger Stereo Kit (2.8 MB) — A rock drum kit recorded by Michael Hemberger in his home studio. 2003.
